Our Story

Our organisation started off with a group of mind-ful, idealistic group of individuals who wanted to create opportunities for youngsters through the median of sport.  This has now developed over the years to a well-run, smooth operation which is constantly expanding.



At the current time, there are seven core members of the Sikh Sport UK team, who are ably supported by a number of volunteers.  These core members also include three directors who are responsible for the overall impact of Sikh Sport UK.  Together, the whole of Sikh Sport UK, is determind to facilitating sports to the wider community.  This may include holding events, sponsoring young sportsmen and women, or even helping our partner organisations in which ever way possible.  

Sikh Sport UK is run on the Sikh ethos of Seva.  This is the selfless service performed for humanity that is at the core of the Sikh religon.  With this is mind, we look to serve the whole community, no matter race, gender or religion.  We are a non-profit organisation and will always stay this way.
